Audioguides
Our collection audio guide in German, English, and French is available at the info desk in the Moser Building and the Chipperfield Building. CHF 4 when purchasing a ticket at the counter, free with online ticket purchase.
Food and beverages
May not be taken into the collection and exhibition galleries (also applies to baby food and milk bottles) but are permitted in the café in the entrance area at the Moser Building and in the entrance hall at the Chipperfield Building.
Photography
For private purposes is permitted in the permanent collection and temporary exhibition galleries. The use of flash, tripods and selfie sticks is prohibited. Areas where photography is not permitted are designated accordingly.

Programme
Children welcome!
Colouring pencils, materials and - depending on the exhibition - colouring sheets are available at the information desk, nappy-changing tables can be found in both buildings in the basement. Pushchairs are permitted in the exhibition rooms (without bags and food) and small children must be carried at the front (but neither on the back nor on the shoulders). Alternatively, the museum's own buggies can be borrowed free of charge.
Art for children's ears
Wherever children discover a penguin in the exhibition, they hold their audio guide to their ear - and are encouraged with stories, riddles and instructions to take a closer look at the artwork or to artistically record the feelings it triggers in them with the drawing pens provided. Available free of charge at the Infodesk for all children aged 5 to 12 - and for those accompanying them.
Workshops and children's birthday parties
Would you like to enable children to experience art in an age-appropriate way or even get creative themselves? Visit one of the family workshops on selected themes from the collection and exhibitions or celebrate your child's next birthday party at the museum.
