From 20 March 2026, works from the Emil Bührle Collection will once again be on view at the Kunsthaus Zürich. The interim presentation features selected paintings, while the comprehensive redesign of the exhibition is underway and scheduled to open in 2027.

Artists open up new perspectives on the collection. Yto Barrada combines her own works with pieces from her birth year, 1971 – a dialogue on memory, time, and resistance.
ReCollect!
As part of ReCollect!, Wu Tsang and Enrique Fuenteblanca create an intervention with collection works and a new sound installation. La montaña invertida transforms the domed hall into a space for listening and rethinking.
Video room
The filmic work 'Why Are You Angry?' (2017) by Lucy Skaer and Rosalind Nashashibi is on view in the video room. It references Paul Gauguin’s depictions of Tahitian women and reflects on their colonial context.
Collection Merzbacher
A highlight at Kunsthaus Zürich is the immersive installation consisting of 3,000 LED lights, accompanied by music.
